Or do you see a beautifully-made daughter of the King, empowered not by her appearance but by her calling? On today’s episode, Charisse is joined by guest Courtney Robinson—a speaker, style mentor, and best-selling author who uses her gifts to empower women through personal branding. After starting a business as a traditional stylist, in January of 2021 Courtney was diagnosed with four brain tumors that God used to reveal her true purpose. Now, Courtney is passionate not only about styling, but about helping women understand who God says they are, because an identity rooted in Christ amplifies a woman’s true beauty. She believes that when women step into their true identity, it shines brighter than any piece of clothing or jewelry that they could ever wear. In Charisse and Courtney’s conversation, listeners are reminded that:

God will take us from glory to glory, and each time we take a leap of faith, we learner to trust Him more
We must identity with our birthright as daughters of the King, instead of identifying with our trials
In order to truly grow through trials, you have to lean into gratefulness and find the blessings in them
The enemy wants you to believe that your identity is based on what has happened to you, but God reminds you that you are designed specifically and beautifully by your Creator

Despite the triumphs and tragedies that we have been through, or the false aspects of our identities that we may believe, we can never change God’s design for our lives. All He desires for His children are lives rooted in divine identity and led by the Holy Spirit who reminds us that we are beautiful, we are called, and we are loved.
